Sarah Paulson revealed what Drew Barrymore really thought of Paulson’s impression of her as she appeared on Tuesday night’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”.
Paulson, 43, impersonated Barrymore, also 43, on Fallon’s show last year, and admitted she was worried things could get a little awkward when she eventually bumped into the actress.
However, when the pair crossed paths at Ellen DeGeneres’ 60th birthday bash earlier this year, Paulson admitted Barrymore was actually a huge fan of the whole thing.
As Fallon asked if anybody didn’t like her impressions, the “Ocean’s 8” actress replied, “I didn’t realize how that could potentially be a problem.
“I ran into Drew Barrymore at Ellen DeGeneres’ 60th birthday party. All of a sudden I had this whiteout in terror thinking, I did an impression of her on national television, she may hate my guts. But she didn’t.”

Paulson then launched into another impression of the “Never Been Kissed” star, insisting: “She was like, ‘Sarah, that was such a good impression.'”
She admitted, however, that to avoid any embarrassment in future, she was now sticking to animal impressions.
Paulson told the host, “You never have to worry about running into them at a party,” before mimicking a dolphin.
