Olivia Munn is spilling the tea surrounding the drama between ex-boyfriend Aaron Rodgers and his family.
The Rodgers family drama took centre stage during an episode of “The Bachelorette”, which starred the NFL quarterback’s brother, Jordan. In the family-visit episode, the Rodgers family left an open seat to symbolize Aaron and his absence, leading viewers to wonder about the situation between the athlete and his family.
On Wednesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live”, Munn opened up about that time in their relationship, revealing she and the Green Bay Packers QB started dating eight months after he stopped talking to his family.
“On my last day when I was filming ‘The Newsroom,’ I spent the day in my trailer just encouraging him to, like, have an honest conversation with your parents,” she told host Andy Cohen.
Munn hinted, but didn’t confirm, the estrangement might have sprouted from jealousy from both his father and brothers, who hoped to make it to the NFL.
“I don’t think either side of the road is clean,” Munn added. ”But I do think it’s not OK when you try to stand on someone’s shoulders and then throw dirt in their face, which is what I think they did with him.”
Munn and Rodgers split in 2017.
