Meghan Markle was a lovable star years before she was involved with British royalty.
The newly crowned Duchess of Sussex appeared on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” in 2013 following the tremendous success of “Suits”.
Markle, who was no older than 32 at the time of the interview, was clever and charming when speaking with the comedian. The bubbly actress kept the mood light, bantering with Ferguson and talking about her education and working for the U.S. embassy.
A quick glance at the comments section of the YouTube video shows just how enamoured people are with Markle, with the video resurfacing following her royal wedding.
“I’ve never seen her in an interview, I can TOTALLY see why Harry fell in love with her,” said one commenter. “She’s got a great personality, and she seems to keep herself in check, even before she knew she was going to be part of the royal family.”
“She is very quick witted and she kept up a good pace of banter with him,” another user added. “She is such a beautiful and down to earth lady, unpretentious and warm. Harry made the right choice!”
Markle tied the knot with Prince Harry on May 19 in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
