A newly released batch of emails from Hilary Clinton reveal the presidential hopeful maintains extensive connections to politically active celebrities, ranging from Ben Affleck to Lady Gaga.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of the email exchanges just made public involves Affleck, with the then-Secretary of State being urged by the Argo star to review a draft of a report detailing security problems in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

“I’d like to respond to Ben Affleck,”; she wrote in an email, following that up with another email to an aide the next day when she apparently still hadn’t received a copy of the document, writing: “I haven’t yet received a draft and would like to respond today.”;
Clinton’s emails are currently the subject of a Senate investigation, while the FBI is investigating the security of her email setup, which includes a private server at her home in New York.
