Donald Trump’s daughter was met with severe backlash on social media after she posted a photo over the weekend of her and her two-year-old son Theodore.

The backlash over the photo stems from the recent reports that an official in the Department of Health and Human Services testified during a Senate meeting last month that the Trump administration could not account for nearly 1,500 immigrant children over the past three months.
The “Now or Never” singer, who isn’t one to shy away from speaking up on social issues, took to Twitter to express outrage over the controversial photo.

While some supporters told others to let the 36-year-old mom of three have a special moment with her son, a large number of people felt the same way as Halsey and expressed their disdain.
