The Drake versus Pusha T feud got very real very quickly.
Pusha T stamped his mark on the next chapter of his war with Drizzy, releasing an unofficial remix of Jay-Z’s “The Story of O.J.” called “The Story of Adidon” on New York’s Hot 97 radio with DJ Funkmaster Flex.
In an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” Wednesday, Pusha T explained that “Adidon” is actually the name of Drake’s upcoming clothing line venture with Adidas.
Pusha T claimed Drake has a son named Adonis, who Adidon is named after, and he will be featured in promotion for the new line.
“Adonis is your son and he deserves more than an Adidas press run,” Pusha T said.
The beef between the two rappers started after Pusha T seemingly took a shot at Drake on the former’s new song “Infrared”. Drizzy bit back, criticizing both the G.O.O.D Music president Pusha T and the label’s founder Kanye West.
Pusha T’s new verse, however, took things to a far more personal level. In “Infrared” Pusha T poked fun at Drake’s alleged history of using ghostwriters. Drake returned fire, challenging his new foe’s body of work.
But when Pusha T rapped over Jay-Z’s beat on Hot 97, he addressed the split between Drake’s parents as well as the alleged child the Canadian rapper shares with rumoured porn star and former exotic dancer Sophie Brussaux.
“You mention wedding ring like it’s a bad thing / Your father walked away at 5, hell of a dad thing,” Pusha T rapped in one bar. “Since you name dropped my fiancee / Let them know who you chose as your Beyonce / Sophie, known better as your baby mother… You are hiding a child, let that boy come home / Deadbeat motherf**ker playing border patrol,” he said across several other lines.
ET Canada learned from a Drake representative that there will be no comment from the rapper regarding Pusha T’s track and its claims he has a child.
The Twitterverse was in total dismay over Pusha T’s response.
