14-Year-Old Wows ‘AGT’ Judges, Dedicates Powerful Rap About Gun Violence To Her Late Father

Rapper Flau’jae, 14, from Savannah, Georgia, blew the “America’s Got Talent” judges away during Monday’s season 13 premiere.

The teenager explained that she wanted to enter the competition because her late father, Camouflage, who was shot dead aged 20, never got the chance to live out his dreams.

She told Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Mel B: “I’m a rapper, I rap. My father, he was a rapper. He died before I was born so he couldn’t fulfil his dream but that’s what I’m here to do.”

Flau’jae then performed her own track, titled “Guns Down”.

Cowell then told her, “Even though I don’t know a lot about rap music, I do know talent. Right now I believe we are witnessing the start of somebody’s career big time.

“This has been my favourite audition by a clear mile today. That was amazing, what you did was so important,” he added after getting up to give her a hug.
