Courtney Love is in hot water after Frances Bean Cobain’s ex-husband, Isaiah Silva, is suing her for attempted murder.

According to People, Silva claims that Love conspired with manager Sam Lutfi, “13 Reasons Why” star Ross Butler, private investigator John Nazarian and musician Michael Schenk, “to break into his home, beat him up, kidnap him and try to murder him so they could gain possession of Kurt Cobain’s legendary guitar.”

Silva is also alleging that they engaged in burglary, robbery, sexual battery, criminal threats, false imprisonment, extortion, stalking intentional infliction of emotional distress, and trespass.

The guitar in question is a 1959 Martin D-18E from Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged session from 1993. It is rumoured to be the last guitar Cobain played before his April 1994 suicide.

Frances married Isaiah back in 2014, only to divorce in March 2016. The ex-husband claims that Frances gave him Kurt’s guitar as a gift and said it was part of his divorce settlement.

Silva’s lawsuit also alleges that Lutfi grabbed his genitals, called him a homophobic slur, and threatened to rape him. He also claims that Nazarian and Schenk “did assault and cause physical injury to Silva’s mother while in Silva’s presence and with the intent of terrorizing and intimidating Silva”.

Silva is also claiming that Lutfi was providing Love and his ex-wife with illegal drugs, and that Butler acted as a “courier for illicit drugs supplied to Love and Cobain,” but couldn’t be questioned due to him being in Canada.
