Samantha Bee is catching heat for some nasty language she used to describe the U.S. president’s daughter.
In a segment on her satirical show “Full Frontal” on Wednesday, Bee referred to Ivanka Trump as a “feckless c***’ sparking some outrage, including from TBS sister network CNN.

Deadline reported that White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders responded Thursday. “The language used by Samantha Bee last night is vile and vicious,” she said. “The collective silence by the left and its media allies is appalling.”
Sanders also called on TBS to take action to penalize Bee.
“Her disgusting comments and show are not fit for broadcast, and executives at Time Warner and TBS must demonstrate that such explicit profanity about female members of this administration will not be condoned on its network,” she said.
On Friday, Sanders’ remarks were echoed by POTUS himself, with President Trump taking to Twitter to wonder why the “no talent” Bee isn’t being fired from her “low ratings” show.
Prior to Trump’s tweet, Bee apologized for her remarks on Twitter.
During a CNN panel on Thursday discussing the cancellation of “Roseanne” over star Roseanne Barr’s racist tweets, The Federalist senior writer Mary Katharine Ham called out Bee’s language. “Samantha Bee called Ivanka Trump a ‘feckless word-I-cannot-say-that-begins- with-a-‘c’-that-is-the-worst- word-you-can-call-a-woman’ on TV, and there will NOT be a nine-day news cycle about that,” said Ham.
CNN anchor Poppy Harlow later returned to Bee’s comment, describing it as, “Way over the line.”
Adding, “Comedian Samantha Bee going after Ivanka Trump using an extremely vulgar term. The C word. Incredibly offensive,” she said, “it’s never okay to say something like that about someone.”
CNNMoney Senior Media Reporter Oliver Darcy added that it was a “really disgusting remark” and pointed out that Bee had used the C-word on her show before.

Bee used the term in the context of a segment on Donald Trump’s undocumented immigrant policy, which involves forcibly separating children from their parents.
“Tearing children away from their parents is so evil, it’s the inciting incident in almost every movie we’ve ever cared about!” Bee said.
Turning to Ivanka, Bee said, “You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say, one mother to another, ‘Do something about your dad’s immigration practices, you feckless c**t!”
“He listens to you!” she added. “Put on something tight and low cut and tell your father to fucking stop it! Tell him it was an Obama thing, and see how it goes!”
On social media, response to Bee’s language was divided, with some calling for her to be fired.
Others, including Kathy Griffin, tweeted in support of Bee.
