‘Arrow’ Star Stephen Amell Is Looking For A Float To Ride In Vancouver’s Pride Parade

Last year, Stephen Amell and wife Cassandra Jean enjoyed participating in Vancouver’s Pride Parade, sharing a series of social media posts from the event.

With this year’s Vancouver Pride Parade schedule for Aug. 5, the “Arrow” star is making good on a promise he made last year.

In a Facebook post written after he shared a number of photos of himself at the parade, Amell addressed some “laughable” negative comments, and vowed: “If I’m in Vancouver next year I won’t just go back, I’ll walk in the parade.”

In a series of tweets on Saturday, Amell — who is currently travelling in Europe — wrote that he’s “excited to hit the Vancouver Parade this summer,” adding that he’s “hoping to have a float.”

He also joked about his own spelling error in the tweet when he realized he had said he as “excepting invitations,” writing in a subsequent tweet that he’s “accepting invitations. S**t.”

If all goes as planned, attendees at this summer’s Vancouver Pride Parade should expect to see Amell — possibly shirtless and decked out in his leather Green Arrow pants — riding a float.

In the meantime, check out his social media posts from last year’s parade:
