The 19-year-old Canadian singer scored his third straight #1 album with his third, self-titled studio project.

Shawn Mendes debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart with 182,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending May 31, according to Nielsen Music. The singer-songwriter’s latest album is his most successful first week to date, achieving 37,000 more sales than his last benchmark, 2016’s Illuminate.

With this new addition to his collection, Mendes is officially the third-youngest artist to ever score three #1 albums. Only Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber achieved the feat sooner, with the former being 15 years old while the latter was 17 years old at the time.

The only pop album to have a better week in 2018 than Mendes’ self-titled album is Justin Timberlake’s Man of the Woods, which sold 293,000 units on the Feb. 17 chart. Timberlake’s project is also the only pop album to stream more than Mendes’ latest effort.

Rounding out the top 5 this week is Post Malone’s Beerbongs & Bentleys at #2. Pusha T achieves his highest-charting album in history with Daytona, in part due to his highly publicized rap beef with Drake.

A$AP Rocky’s Testing lands at #4 and Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy sits in fifth place.
