Mindy Kaling Opens Up About Baby Daughter, Admits She Was Never A ‘Kid Person’

“Ocean’s 8” actress Mindy Kaling drops by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Monday ahead of the June 8 release of her highly anticipated ensemble movie.

Kaling, 38, opens up to DeGeneres about the birth of her baby daughter Katherine, seven months. The former “Mindy Project” star admits she never used to be a “kid person” before she welcomed her first child.

The star also confesses she is having a hard time breaking her bad eating habits originally brought on by pregnancy cravings.

Promoting her upcoming heist comedy, Kaling follows the sentiment of her cast members: their intimidation of working with pop superstar Rihanna. In fact, the entire cast is in one big text chain. Kaling and DeGeneres make good use of the text chain, sending a group selfie to the entire cast.
