Samuel L. Jackson stopped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Wednesday (June 6) for his 10th appearance and gave the host a valuable lesson in cursing.

The “Incredibles 2” star was welcomed to the sofa with an array of sashes, one celebrating the milestone appearance, another for reclaiming the highest-grossing actor title from Harrison Ford, and a third for turning 70 years old later this year.

In return, Jackson, whom DeGeneres said is so good at cursing in his movies, taught the talk show host the many ways you can use the word “motherf***er.”

“It has to be either heartfelt or lighthearted to the effect it’s not offensive…” he explained. “For instance, it’s like if I looked at you and said, ‘Wow, that jacket is a motherf***er’, it really means it’s a beautiful and extraordinary jacket.”

DeGeneres then asked the legendary actor to say it like he doesn’t like the jacket. “That jacket’s a motherf***er,” he snarled, changing his inflection. “It’s such a descriptive and encompassing word.”

Elsewhere on the show, the “Avengers” actor talked about his love of “Black Panther” and how he wished his Marvel character Nick Fury could have been in the movie. “When they were making it, I kept saying, ‘So when do I go to Wakanda?’ and they were like, (shakes head).”

“‘Can I just walk down the street in Wakanda so that they know that I know it’s there? Because I know it’s there!’ I mean, Nick Fury knows every black thing that’s on the planet, so he’s got to know about Wakanda.”

Despite not featuring in the first film, Jackson hopes he may end up in Wakanda in a future sequel to the popular superhero flick.

Before Jackson left, DeGeneres gifted him a Kangol hat with a crown for his upcoming 70th birthday and the two played a rapid round of “5 Second Rule” hosted by viral HQ trivia winner Lauren May.
