Fans of controversial Netflix teen drama “13 Reasons Why” have reason to celebrate with Wednesday’s announcement that Netflix is renewing the show for a third season.
Production on the new season of the Selena Gomez-produced series will resume later this year, with the 13-episode season to debut in 2019.

In addition, series creator Brian Yorkey will remain in place as showrunner, while he and Selena will continue on as executive producers, along with fellow exec producers Joy Gorman, Mandy Teefey, Kristel Laiblin, Tom McCarthy and Steve Golin.
