Did Beyonce And Jay-Z’s Twins Make Cameos During The On The Run II Tour Opening Night?

Almost one year after Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed twins, Rumi and Sir, fans seemed to finally be getting a closer look at the couple’s little boy and girl on Wednesday.

During the opening night of the couple’s On The Run II Tour in Cardiff, Wales, visuals of Beyonce and Jay-Z appeared to show each of them holding their beloved twins, which made the crowd go absolutely wild.

Photos were projected onto screens above the stage Bey and Jay were performing on, along with the message “Love is universal,” during the first stop of their OTRII Tour at the Principality Stadium in the UK.

Jay-Z was pictured with one baby on each arm. Meanwhile, Queen Bey was shown with blonde braids while cradling the babes on either side.

The location of the photos is unknown, but the green palm trees in the background indicate the couple took the portraits in the tropics.

But a rep for Beyonce told Buzzfeed the singer is not actually holding twins Sir and Rumi in the photos shown during the opening credits of the show.

It is unclear who the babies in the photos are and why Beyonce and Jay-Z decided to display these portraits during the tour opening.

Beyonce first introduced the twins to the world when she posted a birth announcement photo in July 2017. The songstress gave birth to the Geminis on June 12, 2017.

The concert in Cardiff was Beyonce’s first performance since her explosive two nights at Coachella, which featured surprise appearances from Destiny’s Child and Jay-Z.

Billboard estimates that their second joint tour could gross more than $200 million, more than double the net earnings of their first “On The Run” tour.

The day after the opening show, on Thursday Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles posted an Instagram photo – which appears to be a screenshot from a video of intimate family moments that played on the screens at the end of Wednesday’s concert – of the couple pictured with two adorable babies, captioned: “My babies.”

Bey’s rep confirmed to ET Canada that these two babies are in fact Rumi and Sir.

Bey and Jay know how to get people talking. Fans are no doubt wondering what other tricks the couple will have up their sleeves for the rest of their 36-leg tour around the globe.

The next tour stop is Glasgow on Saturday and OTRII will hit Vancouver’s BC Place on Oct. 2, 2018.
