Now nearly four years into their marriage and parents of two, Jeff Goldblum and wife Emilie Livingston wanted to be absolutely sure that getting married was the right thing to do — so they discussed it with their therapist.

Livingston, 35, writes about how she and her “Jurassic Park” star spouse realized they were right for each other in a sweet Instagram post.

Accompanying a photo of the couple sharing a kiss, the Ontario-born former Olympic gymnast writes that her husband “makes me feel loved- from the first day we met!”

Admitting she was uncertain “if this feeling could be true because I hadn’t experienced such innocent, passionate, tender, honest love before so quickly,” she decided to take things to the next level emotionally.

“Some people like to play games and play hard to get but we were just honest and aware from day one and took our relationship day by day until I had to express my feelings of wanting a family with HIM and to share the rest of my life with his beautiful soul!” she writes. “That was a scary day, opening myself up completely, knowing he might not want kids or to marry again. And we just kept talking about it together and with our therapist until we decided that it was the right thing to do!”

She concludes by offering some relationship advice to other women. “Ladies stay true to yourself, have fun but when it stops being fun be honest with yourself and your mate and be open to discussions that may be uncomfortable at first but worth releasing in a calm and safe environment!!!” she says. “I love this man with ALL of my heart! ♥ Thank you universe 🙏🏻.”

Livingston and Goldblum — who is 30 years her senior — were married in 2014, and are parents to sons River Joe, 11 months, and Charlie Ocean, 2-1/2.

In a recent interview with iNews, Goldblum admitted that having such young children at age 65 has been making him think about his own mortality.

“Well, I keep doing the math, and keep extrapolating where they’re going to be, and where I’m going to be,” he said. “And when I buy a watch, I wonder who’s going to get it.”
