Duggar daughter Jessa and husband Ben Seewald have revealed the name of their newborn name, and if you had any money in the baby name pool there’s a pretty safe bet you won’t be winning.
The little boy’s name: Spurgeon Elliot Seewald.
As Ben explains, the name is taken from 19th-century theologian, Charles Haddon Spurgeon, whose religious writings greatly influenced the 19 Kids and Counting star and her husband.

“He had a big impact on our lives,”; Ben shared in the video announcing little Spurgeon’s name. “His writings and his sermons and books are still around today.”;
For the names, the couple chose Elliot in honour of husband-and-wife missionaries Jim and Elisabeth Elliot
“Jim was a missionary to South America, and actually died on the mission field,”; explains Ben. “Elizabeth Elliot, she actually went back to the tribe after her husband’s death… she actually just passed away this year.”; Watch:
