Step away from the grill — this rap beef is officially cooked.
In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Pusha T revealed that his ongoing — and often intense — diss war with Drake is done.
The 41-year-old admitted, “I don’t know what was lost or what was gained. These conversations have been had and, to my knowledge, it’s all over. It’s all over with. Listen, I’m ready to be back to the music for real.”
While the two hip-hop artists have been quietly feuding for years, things heated up late last month when Drake took exception to some of the lyrics on Pusha T’s song “Infared” — from his new, Kanye-produced album Daytona — and dropped “Dubby Freestyle” in response, a track in which the 31-year-old took aim at both Pusha and Kanye.
Pusha T fired back with “The Story of Adidon”, a blatant attack on Drake, which refuelled rumours that the 6ix god fathered a child with former adult film star Sophie Brussaux.
Since then, both rappers have remained silent.
