Charlie Puth Performs Heart-Wrenching Cover Of Shawn Mendes’ ‘In My Blood’

Shawn Mendes gave fans a glimpse into his life and his struggle with anxiety after the release of his hit single “In My Blood” back in March.

Now, singer-songwriter Charlie Puth is taking his own spin on the rock-inspired song with a tear-jerking piano cover in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.

Just like the original, Puth begins the tune with only a piano and his smooth vocals. But where Mendes’ voice usually explodes in the chorus, Puth keeps it mellow, making the lyrics feel even more raw and devastating with the piano playing in the background
