Watching fighter jets zoom overhead in celebration of his great-grandmother’s birthday proved to be an exciting moment for Prince George, with the 4-year-old heir to the throne of England expressing joy and exuberance while taking in the spectacle from the balcony of Buckingham Palace during Saturday’s Trooping the Colour ceremony in London.
However, the prince’s 7-year-old cousin, Savannah Philips, found him to be a bit too exuberant during the British national anthem, and decided to step in to try to quiet him down.

In a wider shot, Prince William appears to be unimpressed with the children’s shenanigans, putting on the internationally recognized expression of a parent whose child is misbehaving in church or some other solemn public occasion. Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte appears oblivious.

All the children — not to mention the adults — were impressed with the Royal Air Force fly-by that highlights the annual Trooping the Colour celebration in honour of the Queen’s official birthday.

It didn’t take long for the cute moment to find its way online to become a meme.
