Just because you can shoot a puck doesn’t mean you can throw a baseball, as Alex Ovechkin demonstrated at Saturday’s Washington Nationals/New York Giants game.
The hockey star, fresh off his Stanley Cup win with the Washington Capitals, stopped by the MLB game to throw the ceremonial first pitch.

Ovechkin, 32, didn’t just get one try, but two, after he butchered the first throw.
Not only did he get to hang out on the pitcher’s mound, Ovechkin showed off his shiny new trophy.
Fans even spotted the left wing player hoisting the cup around the stadium.

Later, Ovechkin broke out into song. He, and a few other Capital players, belted out the Queen hit “We Are The Champions” while downing a few beers.
