Prince George and Princess Charlotte melted hearts around the globe once again on Sunday afternoon as they were pictured cheering on their dad, Prince William, at a charity polo game.
George, 4, and Charlotte, 3, were seen having fun in the sun with their mother Kate Middleton, 36, as William, 35, took part in the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy event, which was held at the Beaufort Polo Club in Tetbury, Gloucestershire.
However, despite Charlotte’s headstands capturing hearts, it was George’s choice of toy that had everyone talking.
The young prince was seen playing with a fake gun, and social media users immediately took to Twitter to criticize the royals for letting him do so.
One person insisted, “This isn’t okay anymore,” as another added that the whole thing was “disappointing.”
