Dolce and Gabbana’s Stefano Gabbana has allegedly gotten himself on the wrong side of Selena Gomez fans.
The designer, 55, reportedly took to the Instagram page of “The Catwalk Italia” and called the singer, 25, “ugly.”
The account posted a photo of Gomez, in five different red dresses. Gabbana commented on the post writing, “e proprio brutta,” which roughly translates from Italian to “she’s so ugly.”
Fans quickly slammed Gabbana by replying to his comments.
But “13 Reasons Why” actor Tommy Dorfman, a close friend of Gomez, also came to her defense.
“You’re tired and over,” he wrote. “Your homophobic, misogynistic, body-shaming existence will not thrive in 2018. It is no longer tolerable or chic. Please take many seats.”
Also stepping up to defend Gomez is her friend Miley Cyrus, who blasted the reported comments in a pair of NFSW Instagram comments.
“Well what that d**k head said (if it’s true) is f**king false and total bull s**t,” wrote Cyrus in one comment, adding in another: “She’s fine as f**k.”
Gabanna and his business partner Domenico Dolce are no strangers to controversy, in 2015 the pair called children who are born through IVF “synthetic.”
