Kenny Chesney has not forgotten about the damage inflicted by Hurricane Irma in September, and will be donating the proceeds of his latest album to the Love for Love City Fund for Virgin Island relief, which he founded in order to raise money to fund recovery efforts.

As Rolling Stone reports, the country star — whose vacation home in the U.S. Virgin Islands was among many to be decimated by the storm — has just released the track list for “Song for the Saints”, which is slated to drop on July 27.

Recorded in Nashville, the album’s first single, “Get Along”, has already landed in the top 10, and the upcoming LP features collaborations with Jimmy Buffett, Ziggy Marley and Mindy Smith.

“I wanted to make a record that shows the spirit and resilience of the people who live on those islands, who are generationally tied to them, or are raising families there,” Chesney says in a statement.

“To me, it’s about the hope, the strength, the joy and the courage they are bringing to the task of rebuilding after a kind of destruction no one has ever seen before,” he continued. “To let them know, they’re not only not forgotten months later, but we’re holding them up as inspiration — and offering help in any way that we can, including music. Because music heals, it inspires, and this is for them.”
