Coldplay Honours Paris With Moment Of Silence, John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’

While Coldplay decided to cancel its livestream concert event last night following yesterday’s terror attacks in Paris, the band instead performed a short, stripped-down set for fans who had travelled to the venue in Los Angeles.

In an announcement, the band said they decided to postpone the show “out of respect for the terrible events in Paris”; and sent “our love and prayers to the people of Paris.”;

The band opened with a moment of silence to honour those who lost their lives in the coordinated attacks, and then performed a haunting acoustic version of John Lennon’s “Imagine.”; Watch:
