Ryan Murphy Confirms ‘American Horror Story’ Season 8 Will Be A ‘Coven’/’Murder House’ Crossover

Ryan Murphy has finally confirmed the storyline for the new season of “American Horror Story”.

The hit horror anthology series, gearing up to enter its eighth season, will focus on the characters from season one’s “Murder House” and season three’s “Coven”.

The announcement came right from creator Ryan Murphy’s official Twitter account.

“The ‘Coven’/‘Murder House’ ‘AHS crossover won’t be happening next year… because it’s happening this year,” he wrote. “’AHS’ number eight, witches rule this September.”

No word yet if Connie Britton (“Murder House”), Emma Roberts (“Coven”) or any other actors from those seasons will reprise their roles.

The upcoming season follows last year’s politically driven “Cult”.
