A spokesperson for the Ventura County Sheriff’s department released a statement to Entertainment Tonight: “At about 10 minutes to four (3:50 p.m.) on Sunday we received a medical call in the 4900 block of Summit View Drive. Our deputies responded along with Ventura County Fire and when we responded and contacted the person at the residence determined that there was no crime. It was strictly a medical call. There was a patient that was transported to a local hospital.”

According to the spokesperson, there was no gun involved: “They (deputies) would have said something to me if something like that had occurred.”

Earlier this year, Locklear was arrested for felony domestic violence after allegedly assaulting her boyfriend.
