In addition to being an Oscar-winning actor (and an exceptionally creepy Joker), Jared Leto is also the lead singer for alt-rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars, and it was in that capacity that he paid a Monday-night visit to “The Tonight Show”.

In a takeoff on the band’s name, Fallon cooked up a bit that found him and Leto competing in a variety of challenges within a 30-second time frame, with hilarious results.

First up: Fallon and Leto each tried to shift an Oreo from the top of their foreheads to their mouths, hands-free by using only their faces. Leto emerged victorious, managing to manoeuvre the cookie into his mouth and crunching it up triumphantly.

The next challenge was a real nail-biter as the two competed to see who could pull out the most tissues from a tissue box in 30 seconds using only one hand, a close call that required a slow-motion review to determine that Fallon won by a tiny margin.
