Claire Danes may be one serious lady in “Homeland”; but in real life, she has fears just like everyone else. “Oh, I’m full of fear,”; the star tells Allure magazine in the December issue.
Danes opens up about beauty, her relationship and that infamous “cry face”; she pulls regularly as Carrey Mathison in “Homeland”;.
The 36-year-old admits she’s “very vain about my performance,”; looking beautiful is the last thing she’s thinking about when playing the role. “I’m not so worried about being regarded as beautiful when I’m playing a character,” she tells the magazine.
As for her own insecurities, “I’m attractive enough,”; she says. “I can do the work I want to do. I’ve found a wonderful man who wants to make out with me. I’m good.”
And the actress is just as confident about her beauty practices as she is about her relationship: “It’s either eyes or lips. It’s like legs or boobs: You shouldn’t do both.”
The issue hits newsstands on November 24.
