Princess Charlotte is “obsessed” with bags and the colour pink, Prince William revealed.
William, who turned 36 on Thursday, confirmed his three-year-old daughter’s favourite colour after he was gifted three adorable satchels from Liverpool’s Leather Satchel Company — each donning the name of one of his children.
The Duke of Cambridge said, according to the Liverpool Echo: “Charlotte will be obsessed with that — I’ll never be able to get it off her.”
William made the comments during his visit to the city’s International Business Festival on Tuesday.
Makers of the bags Keith and Gail Hanshaw discussed their chat with the royal, with Gail saying, “The bag is called a Mini Windsor, before all this came about. So we produced three bags for the children – Mini Windsors for the mini-Windsors.”
Keith added: “George’s bag is in his school colours. Charlotte’s mad about pink, he (Prince William) said it’s her favourite colour. And Louis’ bag is a classic London tan.”
The latest royal news comes as William and Kate Middleton announced the details surrounding Prince Louis’ christening on Wednesday.
The duke and duchess confirmed the service would take place on July 9 at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace, London.
The ceremony will be conducted by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury.
