Evangeline Lilly spoke about being mistaken for Julia Roberts and joining the “Avengers” crew when she appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Wednesday.

The 38-year-old, who plays The Wasp in “Ant-Man and the Wasp”, admitted she’s “now in a club of rock stars” as she spoke about starring in the film, which hits theatres July 6.

Lilly has been hard at work promoting the new movie, with her talking about going to Taiwan before eventually flying back to Los Angeles.

Admitting she was mistaken for a fellow actress during a flight, Lilly said a woman stopped her to say, “‘I’m so sorry for a minute I thought you were Julia Roberts. And I was so excited! Do you know that you look just like Julia Roberts?’ I was like, ‘Wow, that’s an incredible compliment, thank you so much.'”

She went on to add that the woman in question was turning 80 next month and was actually a model and acting scout, who was desperate for Lilly to become the next big thing.

The star said, “Eventually I just had to tell her outright, ‘I’m sorry I’m just not interested in that industry.'”

Lilly’s appearance also saw her talks about how proud she was when her seven-year-old son, Kahekili, pretended to be her character on set.

“He’s seven so he’s a bit cheeky, sometimes he plays like he’s too cool like, ‘The Wasp whatever mom.'”

She added of one on-set visit where he wanted to play with all the buttons, “He turns around and says, ‘Look at me guys, I’m The Wasp,’ and I had this moment of, not only as a mother being supremely proud that my child was pretending to be me, but that my son, a little boy, was pretending to be a female superhero.”
