Christine Baranski discussed her rather unusual connection to Michael Sheen when she appeared on Friday’s “Graham Norton Show”.
The 66-year-old revealed that Sheen’s ex-girlfriend Sarah Silverman once told her about the “honour” Sheen bestowed upon her.
Baranski explained, “Sarah Silverman told me that Michael Sheen refers to his penis as ‘The Great Christine Baranski.’ I have no idea why.
“I’d like to meet him one day and ask him what was he thinking.”
The actress joked: “Perhaps it’s because of my long-lasting career or maybe that I am long and thin!”
Baranski, who plays Tanya in the “Mamma Mia!” movies, was also asked by Norton, 55, about starring in the much-talked-about sequel.
Insisting it was “so much fun” to film, the star shared, “Everyone had been waiting for the sequel. Ten years on, they’ve got it so right and we were all so happy.”
Despite Baranski appearing to be over the moon with the eagerly anticipated flick, her co-star Cher admitted that she had to be talked into starring in it.
The 72-year-old “Believe” hitmaker confessed, “My agent called me and said, ‘You’re in the new “Mamma Mia” film,’ and then hung up. I didn’t have much choice!”
