Do Drake’s ‘Scorpion’ Billboards Hint At A Double Album?

The release of Drake’s highly anticipated new album Scorpion is just one week away; some recent clues suggest fans may be getting more music than they expected.

A series of billboards promoting the upcoming record have appeared in the “I’m Upset” rapper’s hometown of Toronto, and people are already reading into the cryptic messages.

All of the posters feature an image of an owl swooping down to snatch a scorpion, a reference to both the album title and the logo of Drake’s OVO music label. However, it’s the words on the posters which are more intriguing.

One billboard reads, “Changing from boy to a man,” while another says, “Don’t hit me when you hear this,” which could allude to the album’s provocative material and potential response to Pusha T’s diss.

The poster causing much of the furor is one which reads, “A Side B Side,” which hints at a double album comprising two sides. Another poster reads, “Is there more,” further adding to the theory.

Drake has yet to respond to the double-album rumours, though judging by the social media response, it’s clear many fans are hoping it’s true.

The Canadian RnB star recently released a music video for his latest single “I’m Upset” which features a “Degrassi” reunion.
