The Duke of Cambridge laid one of three wreaths at Wembley Stadium alongside the managers of the French and British football teams in memory of those who lost their lives in Friday’s Paris attacks.

The French national anthem, La Marseillaise, was sang by the 80,000 fans in attendance, followed by a minute of silence.

While it was originally believed the game would be cancelled due to the terrorist attacks, the Football Federation agreed to hold the match as scheduled. Watch:
