The feud between Jennifer Lawrence and “Vanderpump Rules” star Lala Kent has finally been put to bed.
Kent appeared on SiriusXM’s “The Jenny McCarthy Show” on Friday and revealed that the Oscar-winning actress had apologized to her for calling her the c-word during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”
“I actually received a very sweet email from her,” Lala said. “I shake things off. I’ve been called much worse than the c-word. And for me, it was more like, I felt dumb. She’s an A-list, Oscar-winning actress, and I’m like, oh, that kind of hurt my feelings.”
The rivalry became heated back in March when the reality star fired back at the “Silver Linings Playbook” actress in a series of tweets which have since been deleted.
“Did Jennifer Lawrence really call me a ‘c–t’ on @bravowwhl? Annnnnd talk about my mama? B***h, you better pray I don’t see you in the streets,” she wrote. “You’re one of the highest paid actresses on the planet…you claim you are pro-women and you call another woman a c–t? You’re gross.”
She also took aim at Lawrence’s “two bombed movies in a row,” referring to the critically-panned “Mother!” and “Red Sparrow.”
When Kent appeared on “Reality Checked with Amy Phillips,” she said she deleted her tweets because of her manager. “My manager called me and said, ‘Lala, what are you doing?’ She goes, ‘You either delete the tweet or you delete my info for the next 24 hours ’cause I’m not trying to deal. So, I deleted it.”
Two weeks later, in an interview with Heather McDonald on her Juicy Scoop podcast, Kent said that Lawrence would be the “type of chick” to have sex with disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.
However, the feud now appears to be over, as Kent told McCarthy she accepted the Hollywood star’s apology, noting that it felt authentic.
“This is how I knew it was organic because she said right after she said it that she wanted to punch herself right in the face,” Kent explained.
“I only see her on interviews and she’s always so funny and that seems like it’s something that would come out of her mouth. So I just thought it was a very stand-up thing for someone of her stature to do.”
