Even a buff movie star who was once wore the WWE championship belt is not immune to depression, and Dwayne “The Rock”; Johnson tells Oprah Winfrey on the season premiere of Oprah’s Master Class how a bout of depression became a career-defining moment for him.
“I found that, with depression, one of the most important things you could realize is that you’re not alone,”; Johnson explains. “You’re not the first to go through it; you’re not going to be the last to go through it … I wish I had someone at that time who could just pull me aside and [say], “Hey, it’s gonna be OK. It’ll be OK.'”;

He adds: “Hold on to that fundamental quality of faith. Have faith that on the other side of your pain is something good.”;
After his professional football career floundered when he was passed over in the NFL draft and then picked up by the Calgary Stampeders only be be dumped from the roster two months later, Johnson admits he hit a low point, moving back in with his parents and having no idea what to do with his life.
