Ed Sheeran halted his Cardiff show twice on Saturday night so that he could use the washroom.

The 27-year-old, who is now finishing up the U.K. leg of his Divide world tour, was performing at Principality Stadium when he ran off stage after performing his smash hit “Galway Girl”.

Sheeran then apologized before rushing off to the washroom once again while in the middle of singing “Photograph”.

The musician told the crowd: “I’ve been gigging since I was 14 and I’ve never done that.

“And now I do it in front of 60,000 people,” he added, according to the BBC.

Despite the disruption, fans waited patiently and took to social media to joke about the whole thing.

One person said that it had been the first concert they’d been to where the artist had ran off stage to use the bathroom, while another added that tens of thousands of people were waiting “patiently” for Sheeran to come back and continue the show.
