Google’s Most Searched Canadian Slang By Province: Find Out Which Province Uses ‘Eh’ The Most And Who Reps Drake’s ‘6ix’

In celebration of Canada Day, Google Trends has compiled a list of the most-searched iconic Canadian terms by provinces and territories.

Canadian powerhouse rapper Drake has made “the 6ix” a national and globally recognized slogan for his hometown of Toronto. So it comes to no surprise Canada’s most-populated province is all about googling the term.

And then there is arguably the most stereotypically Canadian slang of all-time, the ever-so-popular “eh?” A true staple of Canadian culture, the word is right up there with “loony,” “double-double,” and “aboot” when it comes to classic Canadian catchphrases.

As is turns out, Prince Edward Island and its estimated population of 142,907 people are loony for “eh?”
