Michael Moore has a new film coming soon and it’s all about Donald Trump.
The director and activist was on Global’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Thursday and finally revealed his latest documentary.
The details of “Fahrenheit 11/9” — a play on the title of his acclaimed documentary “Fahrenheit 9/11” — are still under wraps, but Moore said the film will be focused on, “How the hell we got in this situation, and how we’re going to get out of it.
Moore also showed a short clip from the documentary, showing him trying to get into Trump’s private Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.
Asked about issues of civility and the recent incident in which Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant due to her working for Donald Trump, Moore said, “We’re not talking about political differences, we’re talking about thousands of children being separated from their parents and put in jails… This is insanity, it is not who we are, is it?”
“Fahrenheit 11/9” will be out Sept. 21.
Tune-in to “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on Global, and was full episodes online here.
