Michael Moore Predicts Donald Trump Will Win 2020 Election

Michael Moore appeared on “Real Time with Bill Maher” on Friday night and warned viewers and non-Trump supporters that Donald Trump will get elected to another term.

“You have to listen this time,” the “Fahrenheit 9/11” director said, “because he is going to win the 2020 election.”

“Even if he doesn’t, he’s not going to leave,” Maher quipped.

Moore, who recently revealed his latest documentary will be about President Trump, went a step further, claiming that Trump could possibly stay in office beyond two terms.

“He won’t leave after the second term if he doesn’t have to, if nobody stops him,” Moore said. “This man believes in being president for life. He said a few weeks ago, ‘Roosevelt got four terms, why can’t I?’ He loves President Xi. President Kim. He loves the dictators.”

Trump recently praised China’s President Xi Jinping’s move to abolish presidential term limits, saying, “He’s now president for life. President for life. I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll have to give that a shot some day” (via CNN).

Moore’s previous predictions regarding American politics have been scarily accurate. In the months before the former “Celebrity Apprentice” host’s presidential victory, the documentarian penned an essay predicting the Trump win. Then, in January 2017, in an interview with Variety, Moore predicted Trump’s Muslim travel ban.

However, the “Bowling For Columbine” director’s recent prediction has changed somewhat from his previous assertion that Trump would be impeached “in the middle of his second term.”

In terms of what the American public can do to fight back against the Trump administration, Moore vouched for the power of protest. “I’ll join a million other people surrounding the United States Capital,” he said, referring to efforts to prolong Trump’s nomination for a new Supreme Court justice.
