Celebs Join Widespread Marches To Protest Trump’s Immigrant Family Separation

People across the U.S. took to the streets on Saturday to march in protest of Donald Trump’s immigration policies, demanding that families separated at the border be reunited immediately.

The Families Belong Together day of action received support from many celebrities, including Chrissy Teigen, Patty Jenkins, Selena Gomez, Mindy Kaling and more.

Lin-Manuel Miranda joined protesters in Washington D.C., getting on stage at one point to sing “Dear Theodosia” from the “Hamilton” soundtrack as a lullaby for children separated from their parents.

Other celebs, like Kerry Washington and Patton Oswalt, also went down to join marchers in the streets.
