Selena Gomez is speaking out on the issue of Donald Trump’s policy causing the separation of immigrant families at the U.S./Mexico border.

While the Families Belong Together rally was being held in Los Angeles on Saturday, Gomez was attending the premiere of “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation” and was asked about the issue.
“It’s extremely disheartening,” the actress told The Hollywood Reporter. “There’s a lot of confusion and anger.”
Gomez, who is Mexican-American and grew up in Texas, added, “It’s definitely been affecting so many people who are close to me.”
On Friday, Gomez tweeted her support for the weekend’s protests.
