Cardi’s latest single from her debut album Invasion of Privacy, “I Like It”, has climbed all the way to number one after only a few short weeks on the Hot 100 singles charts, making her the first female rapper to accomplish this.

She first claimed the top spot last year with her breakout smash “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves),” which went on to rule the charts for three consecutive weeks in October 2017.

The single is also the first number one for Latin music stars J Balvin and Bad Bunny, who are featured on the tune.

“I Like It” takes the reigns from XXXTentacion’s “SAD!,” which jumped to number one following the shooting that killed the young rapper in June 2018.
