Michael Buble disclosed the gender of his third child on an Irish radio podcast this week.
The 42-year-old Canadian musician first revealed he is expecting his first baby girl with his wife Luisana Lopilato during an appearance on Ireland’s Today FM with Ian Dempsey.
Buble told the station, “I got my first little girl coming in three weeks, and I’ve actually never said that before in public. I’ve got a daughter coming.”
The singer’s rep confirmed the baby gender news to ET Canada on Wednesday.
Back in February, his rep told ET Canada the singer and his Argentinian actress wife were expecting their third child together.
The couple are parents to two boys, 4-year-old Noah and 2-year-old Elias.
In November 2016, Buble and Lopilato put their careers on hold after their eldest son Noah was diagnosed with cancer. Opening up to Argentinian TV host Susana Gimenez in July, Lopilato said that “the worst” was over and in December, Buble told ET that Noah was “doing very well” and that the singer was ready to work.
Stepping back into the spotlight to host the 2018 Juno Awards this past March, Buble told ET Canada, “Emotionally, it’s a rollercoaster.”
He added, “I think life sort of teaches you these hard lessons sometimes. Part of that lesson is that it allowed me to really have perspective, and to really enjoy more than I ever have in my life. I enjoy the small things.”
