Gigi Hadid is shutting down rumours surrounding her relationship with Zayn Malik.
The model, 23, took to Instagram to defend her romance with the One Direction alum, slamming reports it’s “fake.”
Fans of the couple have noticed Malik will not follow Hadid on Instagram.
The original account of the post has been made private, but the account “celebs_football” posted a screenshot Hadid’s comments.
“Seems like you guys tag me in a new post every day… please stop,” she wrote. “It’s just negative, I really have no hard feelings towards you I just know what a beautiful world there is to go out and live in instead of trying to dissect a relationship between two people that you don’t even know and that you do not see 99 per cent of.”
She added, “I don’t need his follow – my eyes are tattooed to his chest.”
Hadid later responded to another commenter who called the Victoria’s Secret Angel out on publicly commenting instead of sending a direct message, “Just because I’m ‘a celebrity’ doesn’t mean I don’t feel, or that my time is too precious to not listen to what people have to say,” she wrote. “I’m sure you can see how assumptions like this can be hurtful, especially about someone I love deeply.”
“It’s just sad I have to defend my relationship when I just want to feel like a normal girl with a normal boyfriend sometimes,” she added.
Hadid and Malik split briefly in early 2018 before reconnecting shortly after.
