Star Wars fans were spoiled Sunday night.
Not only did the AMAs play never-before-seen footage from the upcoming instalment The Force Awakens, but they also paid tribute to the franchise’s iconic theme song.
The short clip offered an extended look at a scene previously shown in trailers. Finn (John Boyega), Rae (Daisy Ridley) and BB-8 are seen running for their lives as TIE Fighters attack and destroy nearly everything on their path to safety.
Harrison Ford then took to the AMA stage to introduce the “best-selling a cappella group,” Pentatonix, and paid tribute to the Star War theme composer John Williams all at once.
