Twenty One Pilots Drop Two Brand New Songs After Year-Long Hiatus, Announce Forthcoming Album And World Tour

Twenty One Pilots are waking back up.

The music duo has been on hiatus for exactly a year, but on Wednesday they released two brand new tracks, “Jumpsuit” and “Nico and the Niners”.

Along with the new songs, the duo released a creepy, cinematic music video for “Jumpsuit” and announced their “Bandito” world tour to support their upcoming album “Trench”, to be released Oct. 5.

The tour will kick off in Nashville on Oct. 16, though no Canadian dates have been announced.

Last Friday, Twenty One Pilot, who had been silent for a year, surprised fans with a email featuring a gif showing an eye opening.

In 2017, Twenty One Pilots announced their “silence” with a similar gif of an eye closing.

The duo’s last album “Blurryface” was released in 2015 and according to Billboard was the first album ever to have every song go gold.

No announcement have been made about plans new music yet and the band hasn’t responded to requests for comment.
