Halsey’s recent breakup with G-Eazy is still hitting her hard, and led her to break out in tears during a Friday night performance at a Michigan music festival.
Performing at the Common Ground Music Festival in Lansing, Halsey became overcome with emotion while performing her hit, “Sorry”, reports Page Six.
In the video above, Halsey can be seen singing the lyrics, “Someone will love you / But someone isn’t me,” abruptly stopping mid-song and breaking into tears. After pausing for a moment, she continued to sing as tears streamed down her cheeks.
Halsey, 23, confirmed that she and the 29-year-old rapper had split via Instagram Stories.
“G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart,” she wrote. “I’m eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and my career and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time.”
A few days after issuing that statement, Halsey took to Instagram to write, “kiss my dog on the forehead and then kiss ur a** goodbye.”
