Could John Stamos be going from Full House to the Big House?
That’s a distinct possibility, with Deadline reporting the Grandfathered star could face up to six months in the slammer stemming from his DUI earlier this year, now that he’s been formally charged by the Los Angeles County Attorney.

“On or about June 12, 2015, in the County of Los Angeles, the crime of DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A DRUG, in violation of VEHICLE CODE SECTION 23152(e), a Misdemeanor, was committed by JOHN PHILLIP STAMOS, who did drive a vehicle while under the influence of a drug,” reads the complaint.
An arraignment is scheduled for tomorrow in L.A. Superior Court; as Deadline explains, it’s unlikely that Stamos himself will actually attend, since the charge is a misdemeanor and his lawyers can appear on his behalf.

The Fox network, currently broadcasting the actor’s new sitcom Grandfathered, has yet to comment on how a potential jail sentence for its star would affect production.
Stamos was arrested in June by Beverly Hills cops after motorists reported the star was driving erratically. While it was initially assumed Stamos was drunk, it was later revealed he was actually under the influence of GHB, the so-called “date rape drug,”; which he was taking as part of a fitness regimen. He subsequently entered rehab.
