XXXTentacion was all set with a multi-million dollar recording contract before his murder last month.
According to The New York Times, the slain rapper had signed a $10 million deal for his third official release only weeks before his death.
Empire founder Ghazi Shami told the Times that XXXTentacion had already completed “a significant amount of material” for the new record.
Plans to release the record are under way, though the new music may not be released until at least October.
The 20-year-old, whose real name was Jaseh Onfroy, was shot and killed on June 18.
